Advice on Adjustment of Status for Spouse

My PD is 03/4/1998. Applied for 485 11/99. So FP is due anytime soon. In the meantime got married. Can I apply for AOS for my spouse now ? What if I get my green card before I could apply(wishful thinking) ??

It\'s not a good idea to get rush into marriage because
of green card. That\'s my own experience, it\'s painful...
