Is it faster to get a receipt if only I-485 is filed as opposed to filing 485/ead/ap ? Am trying to figure out whether I should apply for EAD at VSC or local INS ..

I think it is better to file EAD locally. As soon as I got my
I485 receipt, I obtained EAD locally the next day. VSC takes
a long time for EAD applications.

Not all INS local offices give EADs before 90 days of filing...

Make sure you check if your local INS office will accept an app before 90 days of filing with VSC.

EAD renewal at LOCAL INS

I got my initial EAD thru local INS office. For renewal, can I mail stuff to LOCAL or shld it go to VSC ?
Also will they accept copy of I485 RD ?
