Advice needed: Received second FP notice, can I go earlier

Just received send FP notice. The appointment is at Newark at Septermber.

Can I go earlier? Is there anyone go earlier for FP at Newark? Please share you experience.

Yes, Sure. I also did almost 2 weeks in advance.You also can do it, if your ASC allows it. But , to be frank with you, it seems , it does not help. Atleast it's not helping in my case. From few postings in this forum, It seems there will be about 8 weeks delay from the 2nd FP schedule date for approval, if no RFE is issued in between.

It appeared that both of you had quite different experiences with Newark w.r.t. the 2nd FD.

Guys please confirm and share: Can you and did you get an early FP at the Newark office?

My Opinion: There's nothing lost in giving it a try..!
There's nothing gained in waiting till the scheduled date..!!

My co-worker went for early FP in Hackensack[his local BCIS], was
turned down, and he tried at Newark the next week[early FP] and they allowed him to do[7/12, Scheduled:7/24].
He got approved on 7/17, got approval notice in mail 7/21, went for stamping 7/23 [even before his scheduled FP date of 7/24]

Well don't say ur coming for Early FP..Just hand over the notice, and playing the 'waiting' game..! If asked have a 'good' reason.!
