My husband applied for greencard last year. Iwas on h4 visa at that time.Now i changed to H1 visa.Can i update my status or what i should do.If i update my status (now got job as a physician)will we have any advantage for the greencard.Please anyone advice.
Did your husband did not apply for your green card along with his own ? If both of your 485 applications are pending...and you are on H1 you dont need to update nothing.
As for advantages..you could work for yourself, or multiple hospitals or switch jobs in a flash...green card vs H1..it is like comparing cheese to chalk.
you dont need to update anything now. If you stay in H1 you might have to mention this new status in EAD or AP applications (for the current status question)
