Advice needed..... Is it possible for GC holder filing GC for Parents?

I am a GC holder and wondering if my parents in India are dependant on me, Is there a way to file for their GC. I still have few more years to file for citizenship but heard from couple of folks that a GC holder can file for GC of dependant parents. Also heard that a similar case has been approved for an individual in CA and was wondering if this is possible?

Any help or direction is appreciated.
