Hi guys, I would like to ask for advice. I had my interview at the end of February in Chicago, and my backround check is still pending. My work permit expires in july, and i am still waiting for second fingerprint appointment. My husband, who is US citizen has been laid off, he finishes his work in two weeks. We would like to move to Saint Louis, MO, where he got a job offer, but we are not sure if it will make our immigration situation more complicated.
We were wondering if they would move the file to MO, or leave it in Chicago, since we already had our interview. We also heard a lot of stories about missing files, etc... Besides would it make the immigration officer who is handling our case suspicious about us moving to another state so briefly after interview.
