Hello everyone first i would like to share my story so you know exactly what i am going through. My wife is Canadian, i am and American i filed the I-130 petition and received my receipt notice on August 13, 2008. Since i have heard nothing from them around May of this year i contacted them to notify them it was outside of its normal processing times. One week later i received a letter from them saying my cased has been received and is under review allow a minimum of 60 days for them to reply. Now it has been 60 days and i still have yet to hear anything about my case. I was wondering if anyone has gone through this issue, and also should i bother calling again or by me calling am i only prolonging my case and hurting it in some way. I really just want to start my life with my wife and move on to the next stage. Should i bother calling, Should i not call, i am stuck i am not sure what to do at this point.

Seems your docs is lost. If i were you i will contact your senator and tell them your story they can help you.

well to quickly update, i contacted the uscis and my senator and they are now saying that both of my cases are with a adjudicating officer as of June 29, 2009, now it is Aug 3 and still no word so i know an officer has it but that is it anyone know after the officer receives it how long it usually takes to hear something from them?

yes

Yes i filled out all the additional forms including the G325A's and sent everything in that was asked. Spoke with a lawyer today that couldn't understand why i have not heard a single word either so she is going to contact some other immigration attorney's to see what route we should take from here. At this point i give up ill pay a fleet of lawyers to do the work for me i cant take it anymore if i made a mistake they should have at least said something to me or sent something to me saying that i made a mistake.

Thank you

I would like to tell everyone that as of Today both of my cases have been approved by the Vermont Service Center. It took alot of heartache and yes i had to enlist the help of my Senator Lindsey Graham, but the biggest wait is over and now i move on to the next stage.
