Advertising advice please!

Our lawyers placed job order on Jan 10th 2007. On Feb 7th the job order was changed slightly (additional requirement CAD) was added. Nothing else changed. Does this mean that we lost the 27 days the ad stayed in the job bank?

Can the job order overlap with the 30 days of wait period?

Any opinions are welcome.
 
I think you lose the 27 days im afraid. It could really mess things up in case of an audit. yeah and you still have to wait 30 days after its been up. :(
 
The posting date of the ad changed again - to 2/16/07. There is absolutely no change in the text. With this rate we will never get to 30 consequtive days in the job bank. :eek: Had this happened to anybody else?

Hey unsure, we just moved to the advertising phase and haven't experienced your situtation but from what I see, some job banks (and other internet centers) list all available positions in a company on the same day. e.g if you're checking the job bank on 3/5 for all available positions in Company A, then you will see all the positions w/ date 3/5, regardless of when it was posted. and they'll do this for a certain number of days and then just remove the post. i don't know if this is standard practice for some job banks (cause in most others, you clearly see a posting date). anyway, by now your question is probably already answered, but this was my two cents. did you try checking other similar positions at the job bank and see what happens? take care.
 
well, in caljobs.ca.gov the original posting date still stays 1/10. ajb says 2/16 and the lawyer says she will be done advertsing end of March. So I guess we lost the days. It is really disappointing.
 
Hmmm too bad, but if you look at the big picture, it's not such a huge amount of time, perhaps it's best that you lost the time in the beginnig (for whatever reason) rather than having to do something over again. Keeping our fingers crossed and hoping for the best and waiting and waiting and waiting ...
 
well, there is absolutely nothing I can do about it, so I am working on not being obsessed with that process anymore. Just that the lawyers initially told us one time frame and now, when this is definitely not happening, we are a little bit disappointed. Just check what yours are doing, so there are no surprises down the road.
