Advanced Parole and F1 status

Hello:
My I-485 is pending and I am right now with f1 status. My visa is already expire. I need to travel on Dec cause of important circumstance. Do you think getting advance parole is safe to travel? if I get travel document, do I need to apply for f1 visa again. If I apply for f1 visa and didn't get one, can I come back with travel document or advanced parole? I don't if I should travel or not sicne I am not working with this company because of f1 status but I will be getting EAD..Please give me some ideas...

AP is the ONLY way you can return to the US. No consular officer will give you an F1 visa because of your filed I-485. Do not leave the US until your AP is approved.
