Advance Parole

I had aplied for advance parole 4 months ago. I have not yet received the receipt notice, let alone AP itself. My wife who has worked for sometime using the EAD has to go to India ASAP. What is the best thing to do now? Can she go now and wait for the AP to come so I can send it to her?

What is your H1 status? Please provide some details whenever you ask question.
If you are maintaining H1 status she can re-enter with H4 status again.

Hold your horses if you want your wife to be back with you
It is not advisable to travel without approved AP or valid visa
Which center did you apply to?

H status

My H1 is valid ill end of '04. Should I apply for her H4? Is it ok that she had used her EAD for sometime before?
