Hi All,

I will be filing for I485 soon sometimes in this month. I am planning to visit India during Oct-Nov'02. If I dont get my AP by that time, can I go to India and enter on H1B status?

Hi REF-I140,

You should be able to use your H1-B (I've done that even after I had filed for I-485 and had valid AP & EAD) - just make sure that it's valid and that you have docs like employment letter, pay-stubs so that you can show that to Immigration officials upon entry.
