All,
My current status is pending I-485. An interview was conducted in my case 2 years back and it is still pending FBI Name Check results. I originally came here on F1. There was a gap of about 10 days between my expiration of OPT and starting of H1. I never got my H1 visa stamped on my passport because I never left US after I got H1. Mean time I married to a US Citizen and applied for AOS. Based on pending AOS I got EAD and changed my job on EAD. Now I am planning to travel outside US. Do you think I will have any problems getting back in the country on Advanced Parole. Any suggestions or experiences will be help ful.

since you were never out of status, I don't think you would have any problems. You have a 60 day grace period after your OPT ends to get a new status, enroll in a new program or leave the States. You used only 10 days of it.
