I have recently dispatched my AOS package to my lawyer to be filed to the USCIS. Me and my wife have a valid multiple entry H1B visas till January 2008. Do we need to file for AP? We will be traveling to India in March or April so can we complete that travel on our valid H1Bs. We will be holding the same jobs till 2008 January. Is it advisable to get an AP anyways? My lawyer has advised I dont need to apply for an AP. Just wanted to confirm with someone in the same boat as me.....
