Advance Parole validity

Hello Rajeev,
I and my family are on AOS currently.We were issued AP valid upto April 25,2011.My family went to India in July 2010 & returned on Aug. 10, 2010.The immigration officer stamped the AP document & passport as " Paroled until Aug. 09,2011". Can they travel to India on the same document or do I need to apply for a new AP doc.?Thank you.
 
The "paroled until" stamp does not carry any significance as long as your AOS application is still pending. The stamp also does not extend the AP document's validity. There is a difference between "application for parole" which is what the AP document allows you to do at the port of entry, and "granting of parole" which is what the stamp is.

To answer your question, the AP is valid for presentation to "apply for parole" only until the original expiration date on the AP (in your case, April 25, 2011). You must apply for a new AP and have it in hand before you depart the US.
