Advance Parole -Validity

Both mine and my wifes case has been approved (posted earlier) and I received the courtesy copies yesterday, however my wife is still in India. She is planning to come back in April.

I contact my layer (Allen Freidman, Chicago) and he says that whether approved or not, Advance Parole is for only 60 days of travel at a time even though its valid until september.

Is this true, do any of you have experinced a similar situation or can you ask your lawyers?

Don't worry. My friend had been outside for 76 days and returned to US on Dec of last year!

No problem. I have been out for 2.5 months myself on Advance Parole. Never had any problem.

My wife and kids used AP and stayed overseas 3 months and never had any problem coming back. Not a single question asked, not a single comment made.

i just spoke to my lawyer she told me that there is no problems to stay more than 60 days on AP.

So do not worry just enjoy your vacation.
