Advance Parole Valid vs. H1B Visa Stamp Expired

Looking for answers.

I have a valid Advance Parole and a pending I-485. My status is H1B but my passport stamp has expired (less than a year ago). Do you advise getting a new visa stamp through revalidation or use existing Parole when I travel outside the country in two months?

Please advise.

Travel with AP and H1 Extension

My wife and I got our AP\'s and my H1 expired on March 4th. We got a 7th year extension on my H1 and did not get it stamped. Now, my wife wanted to visit her parents in India. Do I need to get the H1 extension stamped on passports (revalidation - $240 for both of us...!!!!). or can she use the AP instead..? will they ask at POE why the H1 expired on March 4th and you left only in July...? I have the I-797 approval. Is it ok to travel without a passport stamp if I have an AP...?

The AP is your travel document, once that has been issued it is better (though the processing at POE is slower) to use that to re-enter. Don\'t bother with the H1 extensions and other things. Make sure that the AP is currently valid, else go an get an extension. They are given out for 1 year at a time.
 
EAD/AP

Some lawyers suggest that if you use AP then you will have to use EAD. So, when next time you enter this country, go to your HR, fill out another I-9, show them EAD....
