Advance Parole status message

Hi,
The status of my advance parole petition was updated today online and it reads like this:

"On December 03, 2002, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued"

Does anyone have any idea what the message means. Was it approved or is it an RFE. Please suggest.

My I-140 and EAD card were approved very recently under concurrent filing. Done with finger printing too.

Approval (89.99% chance if you submitted everything required) or RFE (less than 10% chance if you ..... see above).

No documentation goes seperately with form I-131 (advance parole). It is part of I-485 petition like I-765 (EAD). So, if EAD is approved, then I-131 should also be approved unless the lawyer filled the form I-131 incorrectly. Anyway, I would have to wait until I receive it in the mail by Saturday or Monday.


My I-485 RD is 08/15/02 and ND is 08/21/02
 
It means your 131 is approved. I have got a friend of mine who also had the same message when he received the approval.

My I-140 was approved on 11/20/02 after receiving my response to RFE on 11/07/02. Then on 11/27/02, my EAD was approved. I received the card in the mail on 12/03/02. Again on 12/03/02, my AP was approved (as you said about the status message). I gave finger prints on 09/24/02. So I guess I am done with all stages now except the final I-485 approval. Thanks.

The reason why they took 3 months for AP is because of the pending I-140 petition at that time. It is the INS policy to first decide on the I-140 petition before approving EAD and parole.
As soon as they approved my I-140, they approved both within 10 days.
 
gcard2002-- What is your current status message update at INS.

Hi gcard2002,

I gave my FP on 09/21/02 and I have not seen any update on my status. It still says "Your I485 APPLICATION TO ADJUST TO PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS was received on August 01, 2002. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 450 and 480 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete."

I am just wondering what happened to FP notice update. Please post here if your FP notice has been updated in INS status message.

They never updated mine too. It's the same message as yours. I called FBI to make sure they send the report to INS. Also, I have record that I gave FP
 
I did the same

I called FBI few days back and found that they forwarded my FP and my wife's FP to INS 2 Months back. I didn't get that whether our FPs are good or not. Does FBI tell us the status of the FP?

FBI doesn't tell you if your report is good or bad. They just tell the date they have forwarded the report to INS. You shouldn't worry about that, Desis wouldn't have any cases. Sometimes FBI says that FPs are taken incorrectly, if so we need to retake.

Once they say that they sent the report to INS, then you shouldn't worry. Its all set !
