Advance Parole Receipt

I filed Advance Parole for my wife last week on Feb 4th, 2004 with a request to expedite on emergency basis (I attached a Medical Emergency). I could see the bank transaction took place yesterday by BCIS.

When do they actually transfer the money?

Right before issuing receipt number or before approving application ??

They take out the money as soon as they receive your application and assign you a receipt no. and generates your receipt notice. But in your case they may simultaneously also approve it as you have send it for a Expedite Processing for Medical Emergency.
Hope everything is ok and you gets your wife's approval notice ASAP.

I have actually refiled I-131 for my wife as the previous one had incorrect date of birth (18 in place of 08). The earlier Parole was also an expedite approval (in 4 days).

I did see local immigration office for this case (incorrect date of birth) but they advised to send it back to Vermont for either correction (if it's a BCIS mistake) or Refile (if our mistake). So I refiled.

I do expect approval ASAP.
