Hi Guys,
I have a couple of questions for the guys who are familiar with the Advance parole
stuff.
Here is the case-
When you enter the country on Advance Parole, airline takes one copy (out of 3)
and the other copy is stamped at the customs.
Now if you want to reuse the advance parole one more time to re-enter the country.
How does that work???

They do not keep any copies, you should have all of them,
my spouse returned to USA on AP in Dec. 2000, she has all the
copies of AP.

I have used AP twice. The first time, they didn\'t take any copy. The second time around, they did. It just depends on their mood, I guess.

On principle, AP can be reused. I suggest you take multiple copies of the AP document and if they take one of the originals, the next time, give them the photo copy. They can not prevent you from entering the country because immigration guys took a AP document from you the previous time you used it.

I just went home & returned last month and the airlines did not take my PA. When I was at the US Embassy in Malaysia getting a Visa for my mother, the officer there warned me that many airlines personal are not familiar with PA and that I should take extreme care not to loose any of the documents. She told me that many had been refused travel and got themselves into a lot of inconvenience. But I did not ask her for details.

The PA does not say that the document is to be surrendered to the Airlines. It only says to present it to the airlines. If you break your journey while coming to the US, I would think you would need that same document to present again.
