Advance Parole Question!!!

I guess I posted my question in wrong thread earlier.
Guys,
My question is, my AP got expired last month (June 30, 2008) and I totally forgot to renew it before expiration date. Now I want to and I am going to renew it. Will there be any sort of issues that I should be aware of before applying as my AP dates expired?? Has any one applied their AP parole application after the earlier AP dates expired??? Please give your comments.
