Advance Parole question?

All,
     I\'ve got my AP for myself and my wife with my RD/ND when i applied for I-485. i\'ve got my H1B visa stamped on my passport until Dec 1 2001.
i\'m leaving USA for a Trip to India by end of Aug 2001 and returning back to USA by end september 2001. Since i want to use my AP for this travel.

My question is since i\'ve three copies of Andvace Parole should i surrender one of the copy to the Airline before i depart from USA?
And while i return does the immigration officer collect one of the copy of AP for his records?
Can i have one copy for myself? since i think i might travel early next year too.

please let me know if any of you have had experience with AP travel.

raj2002, I never traveled on AP. But I am just curious why
you are planning to use your AP if your H-1B stamp in your
passport is valid till Dec 2001 ? You can simply travel on
H-1B and don\'t even need to use AP, if you are coming back
before Dec 1.
