Advance Parole Processing Time?

Hi All!

I am married to a US citizen, have filed for GC and have interview near the end of Jan 03. So far so good.

However, beginning of October, I applied for AP 'cause I need to leave the country for a while. The check was cashed on Oct 10. All I have received is a cashier's receipt (looks like those printed out by the cash register) and there is no info of any sort on it. I am not sure if I need to start worrying just yet?

I have 3 questions:
1. How long is it taking to get AP approval at the California Service Center?

2. If my approval is overdue, where do I go from here?

3. All the websites list processing time for AP and CSC as "not applicable". What does that mean and why is it N/A?

Where did you file your papers for adjustment of status??

They should be sent to your local district office and not your Service Center.

You can walkup to your INS local district office and enquire about your advanced parole status. If you are lucky they can issue it to you that very day.

If you meant CSC not local office then go to http://www.immigration-law.com. As far as I can tell CSC is processing I-131 (AP) cases received on 10/2/02. Good luck
