Advance Parole Problem

Im posting for a friend of mine:

How long does it take to get Advance Parole approved thru VSC ? He applied in March but has not yet recieved word. He has emergency travel coming up in 3 weeks....

Please advise
 
Same here I applied in April first week still waiting for approval. Had plans to travel in Aug but at present planning to postponded it coz of AP reason.

Are U guys currently working on your H1 or have you started using your EAD.

If anyone works on EAD then he has to use AP only. Vermont Service Center is very slow in processing AP's now. On an average 4-5 months. I guess, the emergency trip needs to be postponed, as the local INS would never give Interim AP's if you filed at the VSC directly.

You need strong proofs of emergency situations(like family illness, death with a proof from the hospital or the doctor incase you need an emergency AP, but most of the time its denied unless genuine..

Somehow ppl applying EAD/AP since May are getting in their EAP along with AP in around 30-40 days time...
