Hello!
I am currently on H1-B visa and have applied for a family-based green card. I also applied for employment authorization and advance parole and have been approved for both.
My question is concerning international travel using the I-512L:
My visa stamp expired a few months ago (I do have valid I-797A and I-94 document) and I would like to use the I-512L for a work-related international travel (I am not traveling to my home country and I don't want to apply for visa in a third country). However, the I-512L clearly states that the form bearer can be paroled into the US based upon "urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit".
Can work-related international travel qualify as any of these two reasons? Do I need some documentation to show that my trip qualifies for re-entry?
Many thanks.
Ashish
