Advance Parole : granted . Question regarding the wordings

Hi,

I got my advance parole today. The advance parole contains following remarks:

"
REMARKS: Subject travelling to various countries/personal

Subject will be allowed to resume his/her application for permanent residence upon being paroled into the United States.

.....
"


Does it mean that my green card processing has been put on Hold? What if I don't go to visit India? Could someone clarify the remarks written above.

Reason for AP

For applying for AP, I said I wanted to meet my family members since it has been almost two years since I met them. I was granted the AP.
