You might have already known this info. But to make things more clear, I thought of sharing this information in this forum.
I got the following reply from French Consulate, Atlanta.

Dear sir:
In order for you to do an airport transit through France with your Advanced Parole Document, you must apply for an airport transit visa. Once you either get the I551 stamp on your passport or your physical green card, you will not need to apply for an airport transit visa.
