My wife and I are in the process of adopting a baby in Pakistan. We have been matched with a baby and my wife is planning to leave in a few days. We noticed that our fingerprints may expire before the actual interview happens. I-600 states that valid fingerprints may be needed.

If our fingerprints expire before the interview, can we get fingerprints done in Pakistan?
We live in Maryland and got our fingerprints done at the local Maryland office.

Are you going through a proper organization in Pakistan? Did you properly adopt your child in Pakistan? "Adoption deeds" on "rupee paper" or "stamp paper" are not sufficient for adoption purposes. You must have a court order under the Guardian and Wards Act of 1890

Thread/post is over 2 years old
I know. My apologies. This is just an area of extreme confusion among people in Pakistan or adopting from Pakistan, so I wanted to make it clear for anyone who searches for this later. It will save people a lot of money, time, and heartbreak
