Administrative Review

I got a letter from US Rep office that my case is pending for "Administrative Review". What exactly it is ?

My name check has been completed one year back, recently submitted finger prints and no RFE yet now....

When I serached in Internet...."Administrative Review" will be doing in consular processing marriage based applications, checking security or checking fraud. But mine is Employment based filed in NSC....

Do anyone hear this word "Administrative Review" ?
Does "Administrative Process" and "Administrative Review" are same ?
Is there relation between "Administrative Review", "External Review", "Additional Review" etc ?
Does it means, my security check is still pending or they are waiting to check anything else ?

Could someone please answer if you know !

I was told the same thing... I still don't know exactly what it is.
Anyway, I have file a WOM lawsuit so I should know soon!

Thanks my friend.....Even my case have old PD.....Even me too thinking about WOM option....

Actually when I called customer service and IO at NSC, they said my case is in External review, Additional Review, Internal/External Review....different answers for different calls.... So I inquire through US rep office, finally they sent me a letter that my case is pending for "Administrative Review"....

My NC is cleared long back, FP are done recently...filed I-485 in early 2003 (EB2)....

also I sent PM to you....please check it and reply it....

Hello AC_Hurdle I also got a letter from my congressman that my case is pending "administrative review".

Do you have any information as to what it means. I wrote a letter to my congressman six months ago and I got a respone that my case was pending a final background security check. Now they are saying it is pending because of administrative review. Can you or any one tell me if they they are the same or they are different. If they are different then what does administrative review mean??
