Administrative Processing time period for E3

SO i have been given the 221(g) and visa officer told me that they wud be doing an "Administrative Processing" for my visa applicaiton.(well i was a Pakistani national b4 i became an australian so it was coming)

1) can some one tell me that how much time i should be expecting before they can come back with an answer...

2) should i hope that i stil haev chances or is ti going to be a rejection

3) they returned my passprot rahter then keeping it .. is it a good sign or bad

E2 Admin Process

Hi there

Just came across your thread, My wife and I are in similar situation at the moment with our E2 which was granted for 5 years and the got 221g and now nearly 15 months and no news as yet.

I have a question for you, Did the embasyy staff stamp your passport with "Application Received" and told not to travel to USA? whilst pending.

We got both our passports stamped feel very rejected as we have travelled to the USA for many years and now cannot even visit while waiting.
