It's been 2 weeks I sent my passport and I-134 to US consulate, in London as they handed me blue form on my interview (they required I-134). Any idea how long they will take to process visa ? Anyone had same situation earlier ?? I may need my passport very soon (as I am a visa national), what do I have to do ?? phone them or send a letter !! please help.

Just keep following up, nobody can give answer for this question, some people getting the visa within 3 working days and some after more than 6 months after their successful interview, check my signature, I have done my interview in one of The Arabia Embassies.

My interview scheduled in May

Ahmed711,

Do you know or has the consulate provided any information as to how long your case will take?

My interview is scheduled on 3rd May in Abudhabi.

Thanks

Don't compare, it's an individual thing..............

No they can't tell exact date, but please don't compare yours with mine. So many people they did their interview later after mine and got the visa, it's an individual thing, so don't take tension about this, only get the required documents ready, wish you all the best........................

It's just to keep our mind a bit cool by the answer if anyone had same situation rather than getting answer of when and how ???

How do we keep folllow up, they don't entertain any email, just take phone call and charge is £1.50/m, and reception person can not give any concrete answer how and when ? it's painful....

thts the only way u can get response ?

CO mentioned in an interview that he required I-134, which I got from friend and sent 2 weeks ago, no reply at all....I was not expecting to wait so long ...

There were two facts happened after your successful interview and they are:-

1- Your case need additional prove (Form 1-134 Affidavit of Support).

2- Your case has to go through Administrative Processing, which is not related to the missing 1-134 Form, if you brought it or not, they will only ask you to bring it, when they finish Administrative Processing, so you can say in general Administrative Processing is not connected in any shape to the applicant documents (whether are complete or not) at the time of interview.

I am in the same boat with you, the only thing you can do, is just to wait their call, mail or whatever method they have to notify you by it, I think they informed you during the interview about how you will come to know when the case administrative processing completed, if not call the embassy and get this information.

You had successful interview and completed your missing documents (Form 1-134) so now relax, cause for sure you will get your visa printed on your passport, just prepare yourself for maybe long days or weeks waiting period, and continue your life normally as your not DV winner, this what I am doing now, so much busy with work and family, and no more interview and visa tension and stress.

What happend if the administratif processing will be within the end of the yearly dv lottery program (exp : September 2009). Can they give visa after ?

Thanks for ahmed711;

You are quite right and we are same boat thinking that I am not only one. When CO handing over a blue form to me, they remind me that - get I-134 from your friend, call on this number (SMS courier number) and send with your passport, that is exactly what I did. Now I just have to wait ... I thing it's going to be long wait as you are doing. Hope and pry GOD in this very difficult moment whether our boat get into the edge of atlantic ocean or not.
