Hi Gurus,

I am a citizen of Pakistan and my employment based 140 and 485 has been filed 4 months ago. I am planning to get married in a month or so. As my wife is studying for 6-7 months and can only join me after her final exams,

Can I apply for my wife's Consular Processing after my GC approval while she is abroad?

Is Consular Processing same as FB2 (which takes 4-5 years for the wife to come) or it takes around and year forher to join me.

Is the time taken by CP same as the time taken for 485/AOS from US?

In case I get married before my 485 approval but am not able to file her paperwork in time, what are my options to get her to US?

Please advice.

How much time FTJ process usually takes compared to FB2 (family based)? I am about to get my GC.

IS FTJ and FB2 are two different processes?

Hi RealCanadian ,

My case is still pending at local office for 2 years now !!! I've aplied for I485 (EB3 - ww) in 01/04 (3 years back..!!! = out of processing time !!!) , in Feb 05 was transfered to local office ( PD current since Sept 1st ,06 ) , and until now no response from local office !!! We've made inquieries , Infopass ( they said that they can not find my I485 - not sure that was transfered - after 2 years !!!) , called CS , congressman inquiery , and until today no response yet .... !!! FP expired also (last FP in 11/04) ....etc. I don't know what to do from here ....i should consider WOM at this point ???

i know that i've posted on wrong forum , but i'm just very disapointed with these guys ..

Please advise , any imput will be apreciated here !!!
