Adjustment of Status vs. Consular Processing

Hi Everyone!

I need help!

Given that I have a relatively bad number EU00028***, which option is better - adjustment of status or consular processing?

I would greatly appreciate your help!
 
I would opt for CP. And this year all CN for Europe became current, so your number isn't bad at all :cool:
 
My case number is 2010EU0002X.XXX..Our case numbers were current like May or June last year..So I preferred to do with CP..Because I didn't want to worry about the time limit which will be end by September 2010..It is faster and easier I suppose..
 
event though you have a low case number ,opt for CP.Its faster and cheaper(Even if you offset the flight ticket)

CP is not always cheaper. It greatly depends on the situation. Some people even with American born kids will have to buy tickets for the whole family. Furthermore, in certain countries you need to travel far away for your medical exam (e.g. Russian citizens have to go to Warsaw, Poland). Finally, a lot of people have no place to stay in their home country, so they need to rent an apartment or stay at the hotel. All this considered, CP may be way more expensive as compared to AOS.
