Adjustment of H1 period

Dear all,

Can you please clarify me if you can.....

I am physically present in the US only for 5 and a half years out of my 6 years H1 as I entered this country 3 months after stamping and gone for vacation to India in between for 3 months.

Can I apply for adjustment of this period along with my 7th year extension application and what are all the documentary proof required to submit....

Why are you worried about six months (3 in vacation & 3 for arrival delay) when you are eligible for 7th year extension?

Also, attach a letter explaining your scenario with H1 petition and USCIS most likeky won't object. Just make sure formas are properly filled with requesting additional dates.
