Address on labor petition

Currently working for a consulting company with a "virtual office". Employees work at client site or from home. HQ is in Chicago. Where should the labor petition for H1B be filed from? Currently it says Chicago but wondering if it should instead be the home address location (home office).

Also, how will this impact the labor petition for PERM? Is it ok if the PERM application, employee address says home address (not in IL) while H1 B petition is still for Chicago?

What is the best route to follow in the circumstance?

Complication - Have canadian PR and will most likely move to Windsor while still working for the same company.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

PERM needs to be filed with HQ address. There will be a company existance check with their Fed ID number and it should match. There is another section which asks for the location of the Job. You can mention there the client's address or where ever you work from. H1B petition address in chicgo should not bother you, since it macthes with the HQ address.

Thanks gcmiracle. But is it not a problem that client's address or home address is not the same as the address on the H1B petition? Shouldnt the H1B technically have the address where u work? How do consulting companies typically handle this? Does it not matter?

Thank you very much for your response.
