Address information

My fiancee, is on the road alot due to his job. He really doesnt have a solid address. Do the replies and information that would be requested (for applications) only go to the american address that would be on the application form (I-130) or can we get them sent to me in Canada? We could use a relatives address in the states for a technicality but he really wouldnt be able to check the mail all that often to get whatever would be sent. (hope this isnt a confusing question).
I posted this on another website forum but have not had any luck in getting any advice, thanks.

A local address in US is highly recommended, that's all I can say.
 
thanks, just got some advice on the other forum. I can sign up for a po box in the u.s. (even though I am a Canadian) and we can have both our names on it. This way if he does not get a chance to check it, I can as it would only be a 2 hour drive for me and I could check it periodically.
