Want to know the importance current of address on I 140 & I485.
Q1) Can we give our relative's address, who is in other state than where I am working?
---- You should provide YOUR address. The I-140 belongs to employer and his address will go on I-140, employer or lawyer will get the receipt or RFE if any. Your current US address your I-94 # Email ID, SSN# has to be provided on form I-140. Your foreign address has also to be provided in I-140. Go to BCIS site and check the form I-140:

If you provide wrong address where you are not staying is offence provide the address where you stay
Q2) is there any communication on this address from BCIS about I140 & I485 application?
--- For I-140 the BCIS will mail receipt, I-140 approval RFE if any, to lawyer or company.
If your I-485 is also filed by lawyer then lawyer will get the receipt or if any RFE in future, EAD will be sent to you on your address, EAD is NOT sent to lawyer
Q3) If there is correspondence then at what stage?
Once Lawyer sends I-140 and I-485 to service center then the Receipts for each application will be sent in 12-20 days to lawyer. If any RFE for I-140 it will go to lawyer don’t know when they are going to approve and the I-140 approval will also go to Lawyer.
Always provide your address where you are currently staying. Once you move file the form AR11 and update your home address with NCSC on 1-800375-5283 and with the service center where your case will be pending. Not reporting your new address is deportable offence
