Address history

I am applying for my naturalization in a couple of weeks. How complete does the address history have to be? I was in corporate housing for a month and cannot recollect my apartment number. Do I have to get this info or will just the street address suffice, BTW, does the USCIS not let you talk to a live person anymore?

As long as you have city and state you should be fine.
Choose option 1-2-3 to speak with a live person.

Just the street number will do. You do not have to include the apartment number. Besides you were in a corporate housing for only a month, not sure if you even have to mention that. Seems to me like putting up in a hotel for business, your home address still remains valid for such a short period.

My guess is that the OP had no other home at the time of being in corporate housing, which was temporary accommodation during relocation.

Home address question

I work in New York city and live in New Jersey (an hour away). Over the last 18 months, I have rented an apartment in NYC as pied-a-terre and sometimes live there when I'm working long hours and weekends (I don't get any mail / bills etc. there). I am planning to give my NJ address on my N-400 and not mention the NYC address (which, by the way, is about to change and probably temporary). My question is does anyone see any potential problems with this? I feel that I am being truthful in doing so and that having multiple addresses will be more confusing anyway, but at the same time, I don't want to appear like I'm hiding something if there was ever a scrutiny.

Thanks to everyone who posts on this valuable forum.

foreign address

Do I need to list a stay of 1 and a half months abroad in the addresses section? I was not in the US at the time, but this was not a permanent address, since I was just visiting parents. I also did not submit a change of address (AR-11) at the time for this, I don't know if it would be a problem now if I list that address on the form.

Would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about listing nyc address as its not your principal abode and you only use it to sleep on a temporary basis, sort of like an extended stay hotel.
