It's not true. CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER GUIDELINES FY 2003 has address for I-131 as P.O.Box 30114 Laguna Niguel, CA, 92607-0114

Check http://www.immigration.com/newsletter1/cscguideline040703.pdf
page 15, also I suggest you to read page 24

File with NSC--All I131s of NSC

Now I am also confused...:((
Sorry did not give correct information in the first round...
Ah I found out why, all I131 from CSC are to be filed with NSC!!

Search for Applications We Accept and/or Process:
in the link I gave you

AP address confustion...

Hi,

I am trying to file AP myself. My I-485 is pending with CSC. Where should I send my AP ?

After looking at this thread it appeared that I need to send it to :
P.O.Box 30114 Laguna Niguel, CA, 92607-0114

But when I spoke with BCIS Customer service, they told me that I need to send my form to
P.O.Box 10485 Laguna Niguel, CA, 92607-1048

Can someone tell me whom should I trust ? BCIS 2003 guidelines
or BCIS customer service ?

I would also welcome any information that you think could be useful in filing AP myself (samples of cover letter, documents needed etc.).

Thanks a lot.

Although 30114 is what I had used when I filed for AP renewal, when I did some research at that time, I did hear from a lot of guys who sent their apps to 10485 and it worked out fine at both places. When you apply first time AP, most people apply concurrently with their 485, and hence all apps go to the same po box num.
About the doc needed and cover letter, if you search in CSC 485 issues forum I remember reading a lot about that this past week, sorry I cannot paste the threads for you now, a bit busy, but you can find what you want in there.

So is the disclaimer (in BCIS site) that for AP in CSC, you have to apply with NSC is not current?
Anybody got AP from applying to NSC?
What waitingforbreak say is true, generally the reroute it themselves. No big deal.

If you are going to apply for Advance Parole send your application to CSC.

If you are going to apply for Re-entry Permit or Refugee Travel Document send your application to Nebraska Service Center
