Address Change Question

I recently changed my address. My lawyer said that they will take care of the address change process. I sent my AR-11 forms few days back.

However, does any one know which USCIS # I should call to verify that my address is indeed changed? (Or if it did not change...then let them know about address change and try to get it changed?)

Call (800) 375-5283 and there is an option for address chenge. Speak with the CR very slowly and clearly, tell him that you have already send AR-11. It's very simple.

AR-11 does not ask anything about pending petiton and their receipt number. How could they find your pending petition and change the address?
I guess sending AR-11 will not change your address for your pending petiton. This change of address thing seems to be really messy.

I am sorry to have confused you with my post....

I sent the AR-11 because I have to (like most of the people in this forum)....and not to change my address. I am 99.99% sure that sending AR-11 will NOT change my address.

My understanding is that it is a separate process, which my lawyer said he will take care. I want to know the tel.num just to make sure that it is indeed changed (or not).
