Hi,
I did FP2 TODAY.
When I went to Finger print office today they said they have old address but I called to INS and changed the address. Today I called to USCIS again they said they have new address. Since USCIS has new address why Finger Print office still have old address. Can you tell me what needs to be done.

Relax. If you've sent in your AR-11 and USCIS confirms that they have your new address, then that is all that needs done. BTW, when did you report your address change to USCIS? USCIS usually sends you a confirmation 3-4 weeks after you've reported an address change.

HTH.

I called to uscis on july 7th. I did not get any confirmation from them. when I called today they said they have new address.

I was in a similar situation, however, my FP-2 notice had my old address on it and the last date to appear for fingerprinting had expired(8/2/2004). When I went last friday(8/20/2004) for fingerprinting, they did some check and finally went ahead for my fingerprinting, and when I directed their attention to the different address on the notice then my current address they told me to write the letter to the application support center.
You should write a letter and inform them about this change.
What did they told you about the next course of action ?

FP OFFICE PEOPLE ASKED ME TO CALL TO USCIS and I did. I do not know that we have to write letter to application support center.they did not tell methat. Can you send me the format and address of APPLICATION SUPPORT CENTER. I WILL DO THAT.

Either you could wait a couple of weeks to see if there will be a LUD change against your I-485 case or try calling customer service again to tell them that you haven't received an official confirmation yet. Your call.

Actually what Local USCIS people told is correct, As the FBI and USCIS database are different, when you update at USCIS for address change, FBI database is not updated that's why it's still showing old address when you got for FP2. We had the same issue, but when we went for FP2, the local service center update it. I think you should call FBI and update the address.

You should have updated your new address while they asked you to verify your info. If you have not then just wait for 2 to 3 weeks for address confirmation from CIS and you don't have to worry changing address with FBI because you have already completed Finger Printing.

I too had the same situation and when I went to do my FP, I changed the address and I filled AR-11 and called NCSC and after a month or so, we received the address change confirmation from CIS.
