Hi
I am moving from Cleveland to New Jesey , my parent company is same, so address is changing from NSC to VSC.

ANYBODY IN SAME SITUATION?

MY Q is :

If I move from NSC centre to VSC centre and my case processing restarts , then does the case gets transferred to LOCAL office in New Jersey or it will still be handled by NSC till the END?
'cos if ur case gets TRANSFERRED to Local office there is 2-3 years wait?

For EAD renewal, advance parole etc do I need to send request to NSC or VSC, I will be staying in New Jersey (VSC)?

-- If the I-140 or I-485 is filled with NSC then NSC may approve the case, they may also send the case to local BCIS office in NJ if any issues for interview only 5% cases are transferred to local BCIS

---- Even those who are in VSC or NSC they all are waiting for more than 2 years, only BCIS can answer your question because in all the service center they have I-485 backlog, something is expected to be done in 2004 to reduce the backlog according to the information from different lawyers.

---- NSC they have your file and if they transfer they will inform you. Always send EAD AP renewal with NSC 6 months advance and for EAD they need color copy of your driving license and first page of your passport that has your photo, DOB, PP #
The day you move to NJ you should:
1 file form AR11 for address change
2 send letter to NSC with copy of your I-485 receipt and EAD receipt, AP receipt and A # your complete name date of birth, write in the cover letter your past address and your new address, write the LIN# of each application pending with them and request to change your address for all the pending petitions/applications. Out side the envelope write in big bold letters” attention: change of address. Send the letter with return receipt all BCIS office don’t update the address immediately, keep the copy of every letter you send for address change
3 also inform NCSC by 1-800 # to update your new address
4 get new NJ driving license or ID and keep the copy of past driving license both the sides
