Hello friends,
I have spent last few days in reading posts on this site and it is amazing to see how much information and knowledge you guys have. I doubt if any inexperienced law professional will have so much understanding about immigration issues based on his academic studies.
Special thanks to Rajiv Khanna to make forum available. The top active people on immigration portal are absolutely fantastic. Others should, keep in mind that, It is all voluntary work and nobody is paying them to give us free advice.
Great job friends. Keep it up.
I have few questions. If these are already answered, please refer me to link.
My receipt date for I-485(AOS), I-765(EAD) and I-131(AP) is May 22.
1. As EAD and AP is as close as 1-2 month to get approved, is it advisable to change address?
2. If I change address after EAD and AP received and FP done, (say in 3 months from now, optimistically), what are drawbacks with changed address after FP done and waiting for I-485? (obviously I will file AR-11 form and others necessary procedures)
3. I have heard that USPS can not forward INS letters to forwarding address. Is it true?
4. On BCIS case status check, I see the message that “your application is received….We will notify you when it is approved” This is common message for AOS, EAD and AP. What are different messages, in between “applied” and “approved” stage. Like “Finger printing notice sent” etc?
Regards,
Karma_Yogi.
