I filed all my I-485 package 2 weeks ago. I had a problem when I came to read the application for an alien relative, and it asked for relative's address abroad. I asked a friend and she said I have to write the address I provided to the consulate when I applied for my Visa. The thing is, back then I had an apartment, which I resigned to after I got married. So I provided my former boss' address, she's a good friend of mine, and she would let me live with her in case I have to go back to Germany (not my native country, but where I was living when I applied for the Visa). My husband thinks I should have provided an address in my native country, but I haven't lived there for 2 years.
Do you think this will cause me any trouble? Please advice me if you were in a similar situation, cause I don't know what I should say in the interview.
