Additional Security Check!!!!!!!!!

Today i got an email from USCIS for 485

This case(s) is undergoing additional security checks.
Please allow 180 days before submitting another inquiry.

What is that means??Is that with name check or with some other thing??What is additional Security Check??

Since your 140 is already approved, it's probably concerning your 485. Did you send an email to the FBI about your name check? Search this forum for the "security checks" and read about other people's experience. May want to search the 485 forum instead. Good luck man!! I'm still stuck in 140 :(

Any idea if "Name check pending" for I-140 and the "Additonal security checks" for I-485 are the same? Wanted to know out of curiosity.

I am also stuck with I-140 says "Name check pending with FBI"
