additional part time job

Hi, all. I'm currently working full time for company A with H1-B and got another job offer as a contractor from company B, which is located in a different state. I will have to work part time for the company B. The attorney of the company B told me that I don't need another H1-B for part-time job since I already hold a H1-B for the company A. But I feel that he doen't know much because he is not a immigration lawyer. Could someone answer this whether I need another H1-B for the par time job for the company B?

Thanks for your quick response.

If I don't inform to company A about the employment with company B, why is it going to put me in trouble?

H1B rules say u can work only for ur sponsoring employer :(

u can have 2 H1's at same time but in ur case job 2 from company B is part time...H1 rules dosent recognize part time jobs...what r u gonna do
if company A comes to know about ur job 2 and they terminate ur H1?

I would always inform company A to be on safer side..
