Additional information requested to the Interview.

Hello.

I got my PR residence throught political asylum and sent my N400 Application 07.31.2010and my interview is scheduled September 28th,2010.After IL I have recieved another letter from USCIS to want me bring the court decision and driving licence to the interview.Below is the list of the document I sent with application.

My question is,since I sent all of the document to them with my application is it something I need to worry about?

1-N400 Naturalization Application
2-G-1145,E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance
3-Copy of Permanent Residence Card.
4-Copy of Refugee Travel Document Book #XXXXXX
5-Copy of Refugee Travel Document Book #XXXXXX
6-2 (Two) Photographs
7-$675 ($595 plus a biometrics fee of $80) check payable to U.S. Department of Homenland Security
8-List of the arrest and/ or detain
9-Copy of my statment which is part of my aslum application
10-Court Decision regarding my release when I was arrested in my COP.

Thanks for your response.Do you think it's something I need to worry about it?Do you know anyone was rejected because they gained GC through asylum?

Nobody is ever denied Citizenship because they got GC through asylum, that will equal to discrimination.

Unless you have something serious in your background history (like falsely gaining asylum benefit) , you have nothing to worry about.

You will need all the documents: The first thing they will ask is..Passport, Greendcard, ID...in your sutiation, since you don't have passport, the travel document is required. Don't forget it....Also every piepe of document is necesary...keep them with you at the interview...Do not volunteer anything unless asked for....


Normally, anyone who answers YES to one of the questions, "have ever been xxxx" get the additional request for additional documents...so don't worry about it.....

Many people are affraid of the interview....Normally, the interviewing officer will ask you questions about the N-400, and the test....he will not reopen your asylum file....ask you questions about extended family...persecution back home...nonononon......just the N-400....and the test...(100 questions).......anything else forget about it,,,,,,
