I recently received a letter from CIC, saying that they are need issue Visas and wants my and wifes passport with pictures and all that. Also they had specifically mentioned that before mailing passport i need to update them for instructions, if there is any changes in the family member status..

I have a new born baby girl born here in US and she is not part of the file for Canada PR.. Please advice what to do?... I dont understand what instructions they are referring to... Are there any docs i need to fill in before i send my passport?

Please advice
Thanks

I experienced a similar issue, had the passport stamped also. Along with the passport they sent a letter stating that if i dont inform before of any additional family members i may not be able to sponser them later.
so i sent a letter informing the embassy of the situation, they asked me to redo my medicals along with my daughter, and even sent back the passport aand had the visa cancelled.

Please do not send your passport to the embassy. Send a letter to CIC explaining that you want to add your new born baby to your application. You will have to fill out additional forms (If you search this forum you should get the info.) and then they will send medical forms for the baby. After the medicals are cleared you will get passport request again. You are in a wait for a couple of months before you can get Canadian PR.

The fact that your baby girl is born in US does not matter. If you want to take her with you to Canada and not create problems for yourself please add her to your immigration application as soon as possible.
