I heard AVM for my case today that said,
"On Jan. 24, now we mailed notice for additional evidence or material requested. blah, blah, blah..."

I also received 2nd FP notice a few days ago.

According to CIBA\'s website at "Possible Documents asked in Request for Evidence"

Here are some examples likely asked in RFE:

Documents to prove that your have always maintained status before filing I-485;
Company\'s letter for continuing employment;
Tax returns and W2 form (three years or so);
Recent pay stubs (three months or so);
Medical redo;
Marriage certificates;
Birth certificates.

I\'m single and already sent Company letter for continuing employment, Medical, Birth certificate... when I filed my I-485.

What else possible for additional evidences or materials...
Any idea or experiances would help.

Or they just need my FP??? Since I\'m getting my 2nd FP notice.

If you did your I140 and filed for I485 under different
company names, you might get a RFE to redo the I-140.
If that is not the case, it could be anything.
You might have to wait for approx. a week to receive
the RFE (your lawyer will receive it).

I don\'t think this could be because of FP. I also received 2nd FP notice and spoke to IIO and he told me to ignore the 2nd FP. He also mentioned that there is something in the system which he can\'t tell. I think in my case also there could a RFE. I also submitted all the docs. at the time of 485. Wait for a week and please share with us about the RFE.

If the last FP done is less than 90 days old, ignore it, but if it is more than 90 days , attorney advised
me to go and do it. FP notice was sent to the previous address , 130 miles from my current residence
and so i went to the local ASC and they accepted the FP notice

Hi pinkpiggy,

The RFE could be anything. There is no way to tell what they ask for
until you receive the letter. But don\'t worry, as long as you submit
the documents asked, you will be just fine. INS issues RFE when they
think the beneficiary can overcome the problem by providing necessary
papers.

It is actually better to get an RFE because it means an approval is
imminent. This is much better than files sitting on the shelves.

Hi Pinkpiggy,

I also heard from the IIO that there is a RFE on my case. But no details and waiting for the letter. Don\'t know if it due to the fact that
my wife did not do immunization due to pregenancy or because I overstayed my H1. In any case what do you mean by evidence for maitaining the statues before fileing I 485? In my case they refused to grant me an extension beyond 6 years, delayed my Labor and I 140 so I fell out of status for over a year prior to I 485 filing. Any ideas?

For my PA additional evidence was requested and they wanted other pictures. Apparently those that I sent were not good. My lawyer told me that it is happening to a lot of people. This a plot of INS to make photographers rich!
