Adding Spouse to GC after approval?

Is it possible to add one's spouse to GC if the date of mairrage is before the date of GC approval?

If anyone has information on this please share .

yes, you can. Where is your spouse? Living here in US or outside? If in US you can file AOS or if outside you can file a paper work called follow-to-join which in turn processed as consular processing.

She is currently in US and on F1, but as date got retrogressed so could't add her till the date became current for my PD.

We got married in India before she came to US .

Do you see any issue?

Unless she filed the I-485 within 90 days of entering the US in F1, she should be just fine.

I have a general question, F1 requires a NI intent. Once you marry in India and try to enter US, the intent in gone. Will not the entry be considered illegal? Is this okay?
