adding new dependent to I485

I filed for I-485 on 04/09/01 for myself and my wife. Since then, we’ve had a new addition to our family in August 2001. Do I have to file my I-485 again to list the correct number of dependents? Will this hurt my processing time?

Please advice.

well if the child was born in the USA - he automatically becomes a citizen

He will not get a green card but he becomes a US Citizen if he is born in the USA

Was your child born in the US? If so, the child is automatically a US Citizen...

and does not need to be included in the 485 application.

our baby was born in the USA. But don\'t we have to include the correct number of dependents on the I-485? Just curious becuase some one told me I had to re-apply for my 485.
